- This antenna is very sensitive to the lengths of the coax ends that connect to the feed point. Make the split ends of the cable just long enough to reach across the span between antenna and matching section.
- Crimp small connector rings on the cable ends and screw them into the tapped feedpoints.
- Place a 2.5 - 3 cm ferrite core on the coax at the split.
