Upgrading to a new version of Fldigi

 

1. Record all your user settings. (see FLDIGI Config page) Save your macro files. Make a folder “Fldigi Macros backup”and copy the macro file to it. (Where are the Macros?)

2. Control panel> add and remove programs> Fldigi old version> right click> uninstall

3. Delete folder “Fldigi.files”

4. Download and install new version of Fldigi. Refer to online help to see if “Wrap” or other adjunct programs need to be upgraded.

5. Once Fldigi is installed, open Fldigi, go through configuration and save your settings. Also go to the folder with your saved macros and put the macros into Fldigi.files>macros(where are the Macros?)
