ITEMS RECOMMENDED TO BE CARRIED IN YOUR GO-BAG
Most hams divide their equipment into two categories, a day bag and the larger emergency bag. The day bag is usually smaller and contains things needed for an event that may be up to eight or ten hours in length. The emergency bag is only used when you will be out overnight for up to three days and working and sleeping in less than adequate quarters, like the communications truck or the back seat of your car. The items are only recommendations based on others experiences. Your personal “bags” might contain many other items to support your radio operating methods and your personal living style.
