Minutes of OARS Meeting

April 4, 2008

The meeting was called to order at Aprox. 7:00 PM by President Larry Thompson.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited.

Our guest speaker Lee Hutchins gave a talk & slide presentation on Paraset Clandesine Radios in WWII. This included actual radios that were used.

Bob Hewitt requested that OARS participate in the Feather Falls Days Parade on Saturday May 10th.

Minutes of March meeting were read and approved.

Present were 17 members and guests.

Slide presentation of the half scale J-38 key.

Treasures report read and accepted. Balance in Treas. $ 941.04

Gary Clark gave a rundown on Emergency Management Conference.

Bob Oden talked about recent visit to local hospitals re communications.

Field Day was discussed but additional meetings will be required.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 PM
