Oroville Amateur Radio Society

The meeting of the Oroville Amateur Radio Society was called to order at 7:08 p.m. by President Larry Thompson with the pledge to the flag. There were thirteen members in attendance.

Eric Bayer presented an ARRL program on HF Usage to stimulate the entrance of new hams into the enjoyment of this area of the spectrum.

The Treasurer's Report was presented by Jim Jennings in the absence of the Treasurer, Dorence Young.
It was reported that the insurance premium of $320.00 would be due in January.

John Hunt proposed that we make a by-law change to reduce the number of board members from 5 to 3.

Officer nominations proposed for 2010 were President Daryl Autrey; Vice President Eric Bayer; Secretary Bob Oden; Treasurer John Hunt.

John Hunt suggested a committee be created to prepare for Field Day 2010.
